As a Culinary Arts student at The Chef's Academy at Harrison College, you can obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the expectations of diners-not to mention restaurateurs-as a sous chef or head chef.
These programs can provide you a solid foundation in:
- Food preparation and presentation
- Classic and international cuisine
- Food selection and purchasing
- Storeroom operations
- Safety and sanitation
Program Outcomes: Upon graduation, you may be qualified for the following positions in hotels, fine dining, institutional and health care facilities, resorts, entrepreneurial, food truck/catering, retail food and beverage, and entertainment:
- Chef and line cook
- Sous chef and chef de cuisine
- Assistant chef and prep cook
