Medical Assisting


Program Objective: Become an important member of a healthcare team by completing the medical assisting program at Harrison College, accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

Both face-to-face in the classroom and through real-world scenarios at a physician's office or ambulatory care facility, you will be taught how to:

Program Outcomes: Upon graduation, you will be eligible to register for one of the credentialing exams accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) to receive your credentials in medical assisting. Passing this exam will qualify you for a medical assisting career in a variety of settings:
